Most Trustworthy Companies Just Tell How It Is

- If you are interviewing a CEO for a company and its shares has just declined with 86 percent, and he deliberately calls big problems for challenges, then you do not want to invest in his company.

This was a statement from the anchor at the business channel CNBC in London, Louise Bojesen, in the national Danish newspaper Berlingske Tidende on October 10, 2007.

Bojesen said that Danish business managers do not enjoy the spotlight: - But facts are that if you are the CEO of a billion dollar company, you are in the spotlight one way or the other. Danish business managers are afraid of the media. They see interviews as a delicate presentation and not just a conversation. Those CEOs who says things, as they really are, they are also the most trustworthy.

Contact Added Value Communication for a dialogue about how your company can appear trustworthy in the media. It is not complicated. All it takes is thorough preparation and openness.
