Company's Reputation and Manager's Profile closely connected

The top manager's profile and the reputation of the company are closely connected. This is the main point in the Danish newspaper Berlingske Tidende, August 6, 2007. The article is based on a survey carried out by the media company AC-Nielsen.

The newspaper runs statements from Danish communication managers and their experience with branding of companies - and top managers. The conclusion seems obvious: The managers who perform best in the media are focusing on
  • availability towards the press
  • radiate openness
  • are faithful towards themselves
  • can express clear messages and values
  • understand the value of cooperating with journalists.
Best Danish company in AC-Nielsen's survey is Novo Nordisk.
